After watching UCLA and Stanford the past couple of years, Thursday Night's Straughn / Opp battle was a high school version of the college rivalry.  Intensity, competitiveness and the willingness to keep battling to the bitter end. 

An exciting evening of Volleyball between the three county schools ended the way it should have on paper - the larger classification won.  4A Opp and 1A Pleasant Home traveled to 3A Straughn for a three team match with the Bobcats coming out on top in their games. 

The excitement of the crowd and of Prep Volleyball is growing in Covington County and could be felt as the three teams begin their play.  Straughn and Pleasant Home started play and the enthusiasm of the crowd begin building early for the three team games. 

 Opp's offense was quite overwhelming at the net. The Lady Bobcats showed their power behind the ball with explosive kills.  These two teams meet again on September 25th as a rivalry has been created.
