Although there is a lot of football yet with 3 region games remaining - the winner of week six Opp vs. Ashford will likely, at worst, be the fourth seed from region 2. The Yellow Jackets have two wins in the region and won over 3A Headland last week, but those came against teams that are a combined 0-15 which also places Ashford 64th in 4A schedule strength. The five teams Ashford has played - have only five wins among them. On the other side.... Opp started the season with a big win over 2A Luverne followed by a region win over ACA, but it was mental mistakes and disappointment over the next two weeks dropping to Andalusia and Daleville, before hitting a field goal to pull out a close victory over 2-3 WS Neal. If Opp wins they could be on track to be the number two seed from 4A region 2 if they win out their remaining games and Daleville lose at twice. Ashford will likely be in the playoffs win or lose - they should win two of their final three - dropping to Andalusia. Opp
