Bobcats moves past Miller
1-1 teams meet up for critical region battle
Bayside Admirals travel from Daphne (Mobile, AL) to Opp (AL) for a critical match-up in region play this Friday Night.  The Bobcats look to stay on a playoff course falling 0-1 in 3A region 1 last week at Brewton's TR Miller, 21-7.   Bayside is ted with Straghn, Miller and Southside each at 1-0.  The Admirals host Miller next week and also are in critical position as Friday nears.  Revisit the Bobcats game with TR Miller --

4th Annual - Meet the Bobcats

This past Saturday the fans and parents of OHS athletes gathered at the OHS gym for the 4th Annual Meet the Bobcats. Parents were encouraged to get involved with their children's activities such as joining the Bobcat Booster Club. Next the fans and pcheer - meet the Bobcatsarents got to meet the Bobcat and Lady Bobcat athletes as each introduced themselves to the crowd.


First the OMS JR High athletes were introduced followed by the OHS athletes by class. The students let the crowd know their names and what sports they will be participating in this upcoming school year. The Marching Black and Gold members were introduced by band director Randy Hughey to close out the program.

The Bobcat season gets underway on Thursday when the OMS football team play in a Preseason Jamboree at Straughn High School beginning at 5:30 pm. On Friday the OHS football team kicks off their season against Dale County in Midland City beginning at 7 pm. Volleyball also gets underway this week when the Lady Cats travel to Kinston on Saturday to play in the Amelia Rhoades Set Off Tournament.
